About

Christian is the Group Creative Director at Mailchimp — leading their creative team to AdAge In-House Agency of the Year in 2023. He is known for transforming some of the world’s most-loved brands, including the rebrands of Spotify, Instagram and Burger King, and he has worked at organizations honored as among the most creative in the world.

At JKR, Christian led the global rebrand for Burger King, which received 1.1 billion impressions in the first five days, secured a Cannes Golden Lion and won six D&AD Awards. The rebrand was voted “The Best Rebrand of the Decade” by Creative Bloq. At Nike, he launched and art-directed the world’s first self-lacing shoe, Nike Adapt, and art directed global campaigns for Nike basketball and football, including athletes such as Lebron James and Neymar. At Collins, Christian worked with clients including Spotify, Airbnb, and Meta, and he helped establish the company’s West Coast business, winning AdAge’s “Design Firm of Year” three times. At Sagmeister, the world renowned studio, he designed the packaging for the Happy Show’s typographic films, which are on display at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).

His work has been celebrated across every major global creative award, including D&AD, Cannes Lions, National Design Award by Cooper Hewitt, Type Directors Club, Graphis, and Dieline. In addition, he was awarded the ADC Young Guns in 2017 and represented Norway in Cannes Young Lions.
